Hi all,

I was looking into Kevoree, a component model + various runtimes
(including Java, Android, Arduino), for building "dynamic cyber-physical
systems" [1]
A comparison with DEECo can be done at different levels, but they are
definitely better in one thing: documentation.

Check out the way Kevoree concepts are explained [2] and how their
tutorial looks like [3].
They basically use a tool called GitBook [4]. It is not free, but they
offer student and university discounts.
I can ask some of the Kevoree team members about their experience with
GitBook, if I meet anyone in Florence.

We may also consider it as an option, since our DEECo "ecosystem" starts
to grow and will soon get very difficult to explain things to newcomers.
If I'm not mistaken, we currently have only these wiki pages talking
about DEECo [5], plus the 2 tutorials, one in CBSE'14 [6], one in ASCENS
Spring School [7].
So it seems that the knowledge that someones needs to obtain to get
started with DEECo is out there, but all scattered.

BTW I am not asking for trouble :), I just think is a piece of the
puzzle that is needed to keep the project "alive" and sustainable in the
next years.
