From mencl at nenya.ms.mff.cuni.cz Tue Feb 10 17:19:36 2004 From: mencl at nenya.ms.mff.cuni.cz (Vladimir Mencl) Date: Tue, 10 Feb 2004 17:19:36 +0100 (CET) Subject: =?iso-8859-2?q?seminar=3A_J=F6rn_Guy_S=FC=DF?= Message-ID: Dobry den ucastnikum seminare, dovoluji si upozornit na zmenu programu seminare - ve dnech 24.-25.2. u nas bude na navsteve Jörn Guy Süß z Computation and Information Structures Group, TU Berlin. Zdravim Vlada M. 1) EVE: Blueprinting With UML The Unified Modeling Language (UML) is regularly applied as to sketch designs, but less frequently to earnestly plan them as blueprints along the lines of engineering practice. One main cause for this is a lack of availability of engineering tools to work on models. Because tools fitting most requirements are available separately, the missing aspect is integration and collaboration. This talk presents the Evolution and Validation Environment (EVE), which provides model-oriented tools as services in a distributed environment and thus facilitates a light-weight form of Model-Driven Architecture. Keywords: UML, MOF, service, distribution, Jini, WebService 2) Flavors of Model Transformation Once software engineering practice is based on object-oriented models rather than code, algorithmic manipulation of models takes center-stage. This talk shortly introduces the current state of the OMG's Query, Views and Transformations effort and then presents two approaches developed at CIS, based on OCL and RDF, respectively. Keywords: UML, MOF, transformation, QVT, OCL, RDF From petr.tuma at mff.cuni.cz Mon Feb 16 15:06:40 2004 From: petr.tuma at mff.cuni.cz (Petr Tuma) Date: Mon, 16 Feb 2004 15:06:40 +0100 Subject: GME: The Generic Modeling Environment Message-ID: <4030CE70.40800@mff.cuni.cz> Tohle by asi bylo velmi uzitecne tema na seminar ... -- Petr Tuma Distributed Systems Research Group Department of Software Engineering Faculty of Mathematics and Physics Charles University, Czech Republic http://nenya.ms.mff.cuni.cz/~ceres From plasil at nenya.ms.mff.cuni.cz Mon Feb 16 15:14:47 2004 From: plasil at nenya.ms.mff.cuni.cz (Frantisek Plasil) Date: Mon, 16 Feb 2004 15:14:47 +0100 Subject: GME: The Generic Modeling Environment In-Reply-To: <4030CE70.40800@mff.cuni.cz> References: <4030CE70.40800@mff.cuni.cz> Message-ID: <4030D057.3090306@nenya.ms.mff.cuni.cz> On 2/16/2004 3:06 PM, Petr Tuma wrote: > Tohle by asi bylo velmi uzitecne tema na seminar ... > > > dival jsem se: tak 2 seminare!
