The goal is to design and implement a robust monitoring service and corresponding data abstraction layer for the ExtremeXP framework. It is necessary to create the data model supporting the adaptive experiment planning that will handle different types of data related to the framework including (i) metadata of simulators, ML, and data analytics processes, (ii) input data and results of simulators, ML, and data analytics processes (performance, resource consumption, time), (iii) status of running experiments, (iv) results of past experiments. Furthermore, the data layer will fuse contextual information and user feedback to enable further analysis of user profiles. The implementation of the data layer will be based on the IVIS platform.
