Hello,

> I am sure that if your goal is not to game the system you will write 2000 LOC in at least 20 days no problem.

Indeed.

To add some perspective - for the initial assignment (A00), the average statistics across all individuals (including those that gave up and did not finish the assignment) were 310 lines in 2.05 commits, that is, the average activity points for the first assignment would be 6, out of the maximum of 20.

(As a clarification, the points for lines and commits are taken together, not separately - the wording in the instructions was not very clear on that, I've updated it in the repository to make this clear.)

There will be five team assignments. I think the team assignments will encourage you to commit slightly more often, simply because your team will need to see your work to use it. Thus, maintaining roughly the current level of activity should carry everyone quite safely to 100% of project activity points, and only the functionality and quizzes will therefore impact the grade.

(Hence, the project activity points should present no real incentive for writing longer code, making useless commits, or other forms of busywork activities.)
