apparatus is sometimes too powerful and dangerous, hard to
manage and scale as the knowledge database grows
- Concept analysis - objects x attributes relation,
and induced concept lattice: requires very careful selection
of attributes - only detects a object has or has not an attribute
-> causes an explosive growth of number of attributes
