[NSWI004] "id" and "md" doesn't work in msim -i

Hello,
I'm checking out MSIM using putty connected to lab.d3s.mff.cuni.cz.
Everything works fine for me except the part where I'm supposed to try the
commands:
    id 0x42c 10
    md 0x460 4
I'm in the "~/examples/string" directory. Command "make" was run
successfully. Using "msim -i", I get into the interactive mode, but when I
try "id 0x42c 10", I get this output:
<msim> Internal error: Unknown command "id".
The same thing for "md 0x460 4"
<msim> Internal error: Unknown command "id"
Did I miss something?
